Vision and Mission

In the past…

… Arab scholars presented the world peerless knowledge in mathematics and medicine, astronomy and architecture, natural sciences and philosophy. Western science and culture are inconceivable without the accomplishments of the golden epoch of the Islamic empire.

Today…

… the Arab world is rightly proud of the latest desalination plants, the most luxurious hotels, and (in the near future) the world's tallest building.
However: All this for the main part has not been planned, developed and built by local professionals but by expatriates.

In the future…

… nowhere will enjoy a lasting affluence without a broad based education, competent research and sufficient jobs. Education is the pre-requisite for research, research and product development create jobs and skilled jobs require life-long learning.

My vision…

… sees the Arab states making themselves, by means of independent research and the creation of jobs through their own efforts, more and more independent of Western technology transfer. Positive company partnerships based on mutual appreciation will prepare the ground for a new epoch of European / Arab enrichment and secure for all parties success, affluence and peaceful co-existence.
